Hills: DHS Soccer Hall-of-Famer Coaches Young Athletes
Hills' love of soccer has been lifelong, with his own career netting him an induction to the Danvers Hall of Fame.

Hills and his wife met when he was working at My Brother's Table in Lynn as door-person, and Dianne was a social worker. Hills proudly said that Dianne is now the executive director, and the establishment, run solely on private donations, provides 100,000 meals to the hungry each year.

Hobbies and interests: In his free time, Hills coaches soccer and baseball. Shawn has been assistant coach for the for the past six years, and has been with Danvers High Soccer since 1991 when he started as JV coach. Hills has also coached his son's Danvers Youth Soccer team and National Little League team for the past three years.
Hills was inducted to Danvers High's Blue and White Hall of Fame in October 2010. Hills' accolades include playing for the varsity soccer team for five years, starting in eight grade and being rated top five in the NEC in his senior year.
Favorite Book: Hills' favorite author is John Grisham. He also recently enjoyed "Full of Giants" by Ken Follett.

How long have you lived in town: "I have lived here all my life, except for short time of approximately a year when my wife and I lived in Peabody before buying our home in Danvers."
Why did you choose Danvers: "It's a great town, the school system is great, the is a low-crime rate and it's close to all the highways. I also have my family and friends in town."
What would you like to see changed in town: "I am happy to see and hope that they also build a new turf soccer field."
