Music and Science Featured in Kids Programs This Week in Danvers

A host of children's programming is scheduled this coming week at the library.

Through a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers is offering a host of children's programming this week including a visit from a meteorologist and a music activity. 

In Music with Dara, kids use their creativity to "incorporates familiar songs, nursery rhymes, rhythmic activities, creative movement and instrument playing." This event takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. 

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, employees from the Museum of Science feature "Super Cool Science" where the cooling power of liquid nitrogen is displayed to children as well as other aspects of super cool temperatures.
