Snow Expected to Start Thursday Morning

Greater Boston will be spared the worst of the snowfall.

The snowstorm headed toward New England might make travel slippery on Thursday, but Greater Boston won’t see the worst of the snowfall.

The National Weather Service is predicting 2-4 inches of snow for the North Shore with as little as 1-2 inches of snow along the immediate coast.

Snow should begin Thursday morning and change over to rain on Thursday afternoon. Winds will be 15 to 25 mph so power outages are possible.
