Yard Waste Pickup is This Week

Set your leaves at the curb with your trash and recycling this week for pickup. Collection will be delayed one day, starting Thursday, due to Thanksgiving.

JRM will be collecting your yard waste again this week if you leave it at the curb.

Collection is on your regular trash and recycling day. Place your leaves and other yard waste in either a separate barrel or in a paper yard waste bag -- branches and twigs can be bundled -- and set it at the curb by 7 a.m.

Due to Thanksgiving, trash, recycling and leaf pickup will be delayed by one day this week, starting on Thursday. Thursday's pickup will be made Friday and Friday's pickup will be on Saturday.

The final week for fall curbside collection is the week of Dec. 8.

You can also take leaves and brush over to the Transfer Station on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 7 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  and on certain Saturdays of the year. The Transfer Station will be open Nov. 30.

You need to buy a $15 brush permit first at the Town Clerk's office. The sticker is for unlimited disposal for the year and you can find further guidelines here for disposal.
