2nd Annual Car Seat Check with Firehouse Subs and Danvers Fire Department

2nd Annual Courtesy Car Seat Checkpoint with Firehouse Subs and Danvers Fire Department. Free kids' meals, car seat inspections and firefighters.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, three out of four car seats are installed incorrectly. With half of Americans planning to take a road trip of more than 200 miles this summer, safety is imperative. Local restaurant Firehouse Subs is dedicated to supporting public safety and has teamed up with Danvers Fire Department to provide the 2nd Annual Courtesy Car Seat Checkpoint on Saturday, June 7 from 10am - 2pm at the Liberty Tree Mall Firehouse Subs restaurant in Danvers.

During the event, families will be given free car seat inspections provided by Danvers Fire Department while children enjoy free kids' meals and firefighter hats courtesy of Firehouse Subs. Danvers Fire Department will have fire trucks on hands for kids to climb aboard, while Sparky The Dog greets customers.

All voluntary donations from the event will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association "Fill the Boot" campaign.
