With Matty's Food and Spirits, the restaurant's menu will change, but the floor plan and capacity will remain the same. There will be additional TVs brought in, and they hope to add a lottery in the back of the restaurant as well.

While at the meeting, Spero Demakes was also appointed as the new manager of the restaurant. His father, James, who had been collaborating on the project with Mark Leger, passed away two weeks ago.

James Demakes was the former owner of the popular Jimmy's Allenhurt on Route 114.

Thomas Demakes said Matty's will have a similar to feel to the sports pub atmosphere at Jimmy's Allenhurst.
