Avalon Danvers Sold for $108 Million, Gets New Name

Boston-based real estate investment and development firm, the DSF Group, has purchased Avalon Danvers for $108.5 million.

The deal for the 433-unit complex is being called the largest multifamily transaction in the Greater Boston market this year.”

The company plans to perform “extensive renovations and expansion of the amenity spaces” and change the name to Halstead Danvers, according to the DSF Group.

The renovations include a new health and fitness center, a yoga studio, a virtual golf and boxing studio, a movie theater and resident lounge.

"We are excited to continue expanding our portfolio throughout the Northeast and implementing our value-add strategy of delivering best of class amenities and the highest quality resident lifestyle in the market," said DSF President Josh Solomon.
