British Beer Company Announces Opening Date in Danvers

The eatery is opening this month.

The British are invading next week.

British Beer Company is holding a grand opening event on Tuesday, June 17. The former Grassfields location is being transformed into a British pub. The pub will have paneling and other architectural details from England and custom stained glass made in Rhode Island.

The Danvers location will be the chain’s 13 location. The closest other BBC is in Westford.

The space is 5,446 square feet and will include 176 seats as well as an exterior patio area between the building and Route 114. BBC will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week. 

The pub offers Angus burgers, local fish dishes and British staples like raised crust pies and fish and chips.

It also has 32 local and national craft beers on tap and an international selection of bottles and a fresh cask.

From 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, BBC will host a grand opening event. Susie Kitchens, British Consulate General, will arrive in a black cab to cut the ribbon and customers can sample appetizers as well as view vintage Jaguars, Minis and Land Rovers.
