Local CPA Firm Names Danvers Woman Principal, Changes Name

A local CPA form has changes its name after adding a new principal.

Susan A. Weeks of Danvers has been named principal at Vesey and Weeks, PC, a certified public accounting firm. The firm has also changed its name from to Vesey and Weeks, PC.

Weeks is a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with dual concentrations in accounting and finance.

She serves as a Business Valuation Specialist at Vesey & Weeks and is active in the exit planning and succession division.

Weeks previously worked at Deloitte where she spent 7 years in the audit department while obtaining her designation as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. She has been with Vesey & Company - now Vesey & Weeks - since 2006 and during that time obtained her designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Weeks said in the same statement that she is "absolutely thrilled" to be named principal.

“The recognition is truly an honor and I am looking forward to helping guide the firm at a strategic and practical level as principal," she said. "I am firmly committed to helping business owners and managers throughout the North Shore make critical decisions, regardless of what phase their business is in.”
