Doors Closed On Mario's Restaurant

Mario's Restaurant was seized and is now in the possession of the Essex County Sheriff's Office.

The doors were locked, and a sign stating "Seized" was placed on the door to the Mario's Restaurant, located on 10 Purchased St. this past weekend.

The property was officially taken over by the Essex Country Sheriff's Office.

Town Manager Wayne Marquis said the town of Danvers was not involved in the seizing of the property.

Mario's Restaurant owner Ken Santiano did not return calls from Danvers Patch for comment on the situation.
