Pet Cremation Business Eyed

The plan calls "for a small office and a 'comfort area' for pet owners, plus the area where the cremations will be performed," reported the Salem News.

A Danvers resident is hoping to open a pet cremation service in an industrial condominium at the back of 10B Rainbow Terrace in Danversport.

The business, operated by Jason Allain, would open inside an eight-unit industrial condominium that is owned by the man’s family, reported the Salem News.

The plan calls “for a small office and a ‘comfort area’ for pet owners, plus the area where the cremations will be performed,” reported the Salem News.

The business would need a zoning variance. A hearing is proposed for Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
