Toys for Tots with DJ Tone and Friends: Toys for Tots benefit at Vic's Boathouse in Victoria Station from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Friday.  DJ Tone, Ross Livermore and Paul Dumas of The Ross Livermore Band, Fishing the Sky and Dan Levy of In The Meantime will all be performing. Bring a brand new, unwrapped toy to donate or $5 to get in (or both if you really want to help the kids)! All the toys and money will be donated to Toys For Tots. 

Manchester-by-the-Sea

One Night in Bethlehem: Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Bethlehem on the night Christ was born. A candlelight processional leaves First Parish Church, Congregational in Manchester (on the Village Green) at 4:15 p.m., arriving at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 4:30 p.m. to kick off the live nativity and indoor market. 

Ipswich

Appleton Farms has its own “Nisse”: An elf-like creature lives in Appleton Farm's barns and protects its farmers, animals, and crops. Each holiday season the Farm Nisse appears for his special porridge. Join Appleton Farms on Friday, Dec. 21 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. as they kindly thank their Nisse for bringing luck to the farm, offer him porridge, and listen to his tales of mischief! Share in holiday goodies, crafts, and caroling. RSVP: 978.356.5728 x18 or afeducator@ttor.org. Meet at Appleton Farms' Carriage Barn.

Suggested donation is $5.

Music for the Holidays: The Orchestra On The Hill and The Festival Chorus will perform in Concert in Ipswich's annual Music For The Holidays at 7:30 p.m. at the Ipswich Performing Arts Center in the Ipswich High School.

Free admission with donations gladly accepted.

Marblehead

Polar Express Party: All aboard for a special holiday event. Be sure to wear your pajamas for this trip on the Polar Express at Wit and Whimsy Children's Bookstore. Listen to a reading of the book by author, Chris Van Allsburg, make a a Christmas craft, drink hot chocolate and enjoy a special treat! Friday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Holiday Village Open House Once again the Gerry 5 VFA will display a beautiful Holiday Village in their Function Hall from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday. Santa will visit from 2-4 p.m.
