DCAT Welcomes the Folklorist

Danvers, MA, January, 2014: On January 16th, Danvers Community Access Television invited the producers of the Emmy award winning show, The Folklorist, into the studio. Producers Andrew Eldridge and Angela Harrer gave DCAT Staff and members a brief screening of The Folklorist as well as provided the step by step breakdown of what goes into making this great show come alive. Audience members were event treated to a reel of behind the scenes footage. They got a glimpse into shooting techniques, studio set up, writer’s workshop, prop building and more.

The Folklorist is highly captivating show produced by the staff of NewTV in Newton, MA. Hosted by John Horrigan, The Folklorist explains and reenacts stories from all over history, some of which include The Ponzi Scheme, The Dover Demon, and The Prince of Pirates.

DCAT would like to thank Andrew and Angela for coming down to the Studio and letting us into the wonderful world of The Folklorist.
