About YENS

The mission of the Young Entrepreneurs of the North Shore (YENS) is to identify, educate, support and encourage young entrepreneurial women and men and, through the growth of their companies, to create jobs for others. An initial $10,000 grant, awarded to the Enterprise Center at Salem State University from the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation, led to the establishment of YENS in 2012. Targeted to young business owners and entrepreneurs, YENS aims to provide resources by means of educating its members with seminars and a referral network to allow these business owners to reach out and connect with one another. YENS also hosts creative networking events for relationship building and workshops for business development in all areas. YENS has a dedicated Board of Directors committed to supporting and executing the organization’s mission. For additional information, contact Andrew Turner at aturner@yenscommunity.org. YENS is in the process of upgrading its web page located at www.yenscommunity.org; more information about the organization can be found on its Facebook page located at www.facebook.com/youngentrepreneursofthenorthshore.
