Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Danvers

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch and hazardous weather outlook in Danvers for this afternoon and tonight.

A coastal flood advisory and freeze watch have been put into effect for Danvers and surrounding communities for this afternoon and tonight.

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain for this afternoon, with a high near 43 degrees.

Tonight forecasters are predicting a mixture of rain and snow before midnight, and a chance of snow between midnight at 2 a.m. Lows are expected to be around 30 degrees, with a 100 percent change of percipitation.

Snow accumulation of around an inch is possible.

A freeze watch is issued when subfreezing temperatures are expected, which could result in the potential end to the crop-growing season.
