The first snowstorm of the winter is over, but forecasters are warning that gusty winds will linger through the day on Sunday.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory that runs through 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Northwest winds blowing at 25-30 miles per hour with gusts to 50 miles per hour are expected through the day. The strongest winds are expected between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., the weather service said.
The wind advisory was issued because sustained winds of 31-39 miles or gusts to between 46 and 57 miles per hour are expected.
The wind could knock down tree limbs and possible cause power outages.
