Yes, there IS a drum corps on the North Shore. Arbella is the re-incarnation of a drum corps that hailed from Salem in the 70s and 80s. In 2011, a few Alumni got together, formed a board, and have been steadily growing our ranks and increasing our performances ever since.
Arbella is looking for drum corps alumni from any corps, area MS, HS and college musicians (brass, percussion) and guard performers to join this dedicated crew for the 2014 season.
Arbella is so fortunate to have world-class instructors who have been performing with, teaching and judging DCI drum corps for decades. Our team is dedicated to building our Corps from the ground up and is committed to creating a QUALITY program.
Arbella is already booked for local performances for the summer of 2014 and is looking to have an Independent Guard for next Winter. At Christmas we field a Christmas Brass Ensemble to carol around the community.
Brass is already rehearsing the 2014 Repertoire on Sundays, 1-4, at the Danversport Marina Clubhouse. Newcomers are always welcome to pop in and have a listen - heck, bring your horn and jump in!
