Comparative Religion: The Three Abrahamic Religions
Join us as Dr. Michael Szycher provides a layperson’s guide to the similarities and differences between Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
By understanding one another, we can aspire to develop greater tolerance and respect for all peoples. This short course is a thought-provoking analysis of the three monotheistic religions. We will trace the impact of the Bible on civilization and will explore in-depth the following topics:
• Similarities and differences among the Abrahamic religions
• Sacred time, space and objects
• Religious rituals, traditions, mysticism and spirituality
• Can religion and science co-exist?
