Danvers Special Education Parent Advisory Council 

Please join us for a workshop with Autism Speaks. 
This workshop will address: 
§ Scientific Programs – Importance of research and the impact on autism community. 
§ Awareness – Light It Up Blue, Ad Council, Early Access to Care Initiative. 
§ Advocacy – State and Federal Initiatives, including insurance coverage for self-funded plans 
§ Family Services – Free tool Kits, Online Resource Guide, & Video Glossary. 

Presenters: Judith Urisetti, Director of State Government Affairs, & Kelley Borer- 
Miller, Sr. Director, Field Development – Boston and Nantucket. Autism Speaks 
has grown into the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, 
dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for 
autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the 
needs of individuals with autism and their families.

Location: Holten-Richmond Middle School Library 
Time: 6:30 p.m. Business Meeting & 7:00 p.m. Presentation
