Historic Holidays

Please join Sgt. Francis Nurse and his family on Saturday November 24th as they portray the colonial celebration of the fall harvest!


When: Saturday November 24th from 10am to 3pm
Admission:  $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students and those under 12 are free! Members of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead Preservation Society get in for FREE.

  • Colonial living history demonstrations in the historic Rebecca Nurse House

  • A special Thanksgiving appearance by George Washington

  • Candle making crafts

  • Colonial children’s games

  • Holiday themed exhibit:  Did you know that Christmas was once banned in Massachusetts? and other colonial holiday facts.

  • Seasonal refreshments for sale including everything from gingerbread to hot wassail

  • Raffles


All proceeds from this event go to directly to the preservation and maintenance of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead.
