The 24th Annual Boston Jewish Film Festival - Dorfman

In this sweet, L.A.-set comedy, Deb Dorfman (television actress Sara Rue) – mousy, awkward and single – needs a new life.  She sacrifices all for her widowed curmudgeonly father (acclaimed actor Elliot Gould), and her uncaring accountant brother, while pining for a manipulative globetrotting journalist.  But things brighten when she moves out on her Dad for a week of house and cat sitting.  She gets a makeover and stylish, artsy friends.  Will she also find Mr. Right?  Note: sexual situations.
