Free Youth Heart Screening

The Josh Thibodeau Helping Hearts Foundation is proud to announce our 2nd Heart Screening will be held in Salem, MA on April 12th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Nathaniel Bowditch School, 79 Wilson Street, Salem, MA 01970

This heart screening includes; review of health history, height and weight, blood pressure check, electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG), heart sounds check, possible echocardiogram, and physician consult.Our first heart screening at Wachusett Regional High School was a huge success. We screened and taught hands- only CPR to 116 students. Several teens needed to follow-up with their primary care providers, and a few needed cardiology referrals.

A heart screening is not a comprehensive cardiac evaluation and some disorders can develop at a later point in time.
