Resolved to Care: A Series of Open Houses for the North Shore Volunteer Hub

Organizations across the North Shore need your help to make our communities healthier, safer, better places to live! In the spirit of New Year’s resolutions, come visit the North Shore United Way and get RESOLVED TO CARE!

Resolved to Care: A Series of Open Houses for the North Shore Volunteer Hub - EVERY Friday afternoon in January from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the North Shore United Way office, 248 Cabot Street in Beverly (one door down from People’s Bank--marked as Montserrat College)

Short demonstrations of the website will be done on the half hour and volunteers will be available to help guests sign up and find meaningful volunteer opportunities.

The North Shore United Way recently launched an online community for volunteerism called the North Shore Volunteer Hub. Linked from nsuw.org, the North Shore Volunteer Hub is an interactive website that helps local residents connect with meaningful opportunities to make a difference!
The North Shore United Way invests almost $1M each year in projects that transform lives and improve communities now and for future generations.

NSUW is all about local impact by rigorously vetting and supporting 25 causes that serve children, families, and seniors in eight North Shore communities, including Beverly, Hamilton, Wenham, Ipswich, Essex, Manchester, Gloucester and Rockport.  For more information about the process and projects funded by NSUW donors and volunteers, visit nsuw.org or call 978-922-3966.
