SENATOR JOAN LOVELY PRESENTATION AT THE NORTH SHORE BUSINESS FORUM
DANVERS, January 31 – Sen. Joan Lovely, State Senator of the 2nd
Essex District, will speak at The North Shore Business Forum on January 31 on
2014 legislative update for small business owners. On January 2, 2013, Senator Joan Lovely was
sworn into her first term in the Massachusetts Senate. She represents the 2nd
Essex District, comprised of Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, Salem and Topsfield. In
the Legislature, she serves as co-chairman of the Joint Committee on Mental
Health and Substance Abuse and as vice-chairman of the Joint Committee on
Veterans and Federal Affairs. In addition, the Senator sits on the Joint
Committee on Community Development and Small Business, the Joint Committee on
Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, the Joint Committee on Consumer
Protection and Professional Licensure, the Joint Committee on Public Health,
and the Joint Committee on Election Laws. The North Shore Business Forum meets at 7:30am
at the Danversport Yacht Club, Rt. 62 East, Danvers, MA. The $11 admission fee include a continental
breakfast and pre-registration is not required.
