TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) Training

DanversCARES and the Danvers Police Department present TIPS Training for businesses selling and/or serving alcohol. TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is a skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving, and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental "people skills" of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol.

TIPS gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.

This training is taking place on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Danvers Police Department. Training is free for Danvers businesses. If space is available the training will be opened to others for a fee.
