KEEP THE BEAT, THE CHD AWARENESS WALK HOSTED BY IT'S MY HEART NEW ENGLAND CHAPTER
The New England Chapter of It’s My Heart (IMH) announces its Second Annual CHD Awareness non-competitive Walk and Family Picnic for 2012.
The event will be held at Endicott Park in Danvers, MA on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 9:00am to 2:00pm in an effort to raise community awareness for the #1 birth defect in the United States. The event will feature a choice of either a 1 or 2 mile in length walk. Proceeds raised will go to support It’s My Heart New England’s mission to support and advocate for families affected by CHD in the greater New England area. Additionally, IMH New England supports programs in many area hospitals that perform open-heart surgery and other care for CHD patients.

Come out for a fun day for the entire family! Walk at your own pace and then join us for a post-walk family picnic and many fun activities for kids and adults alike.

All participants raising at least $25 will receive a free t-shirt and be registered for special activities, games, and the post-walk picnic. Everyone is invited to participate regardless of age and team building is not only welcomed, but encouraged!

The New England Chapter (formerly the Boston Chapter) of It’s My Heart was founded in 2008 and has been locally in Danvers, MA since January 2010. Our Chapter continuously reaches out to CHD families through our advocacy programs and area events.
