Maddie Santosuosso is 9 and Battling Rare Form of Cancer
Maddie Santosuosso of Topsfield is just nine years old and in third grade, but she's been diagnosed with a rare tissue cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at Mass. General Hospital in Boston.

Maddie Santosuosso of Topsfield is just nine years old and in third grade, but she's been diagnosed with a rare tissue cancer -- Stage 4 Sarcoma -- and is currently undergoing treatment at Mass. General Hospital in Boston.
Maddie is undergoing regular chemotherapy and will eventually have daily radiation treatments toward the end of the month. If the chemo works though, she'll be able to enjoy a long and healthy life.
Meanwhile, the medical bills are piling up for her family and other treatments they may need to try are costly and not all covered by health insurance.
