Gonzo is our 6 year old miniature schnauzer. He was the little runt of his litter but the one with the most fire. 
    On tuesday morning he stopped eating and had a high temp so I brought him to the vet. From x-rays done, they found he had large kidney stones and an inflamed bladder. We took him to the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn. 
     They took further tests and an ultra-sound. Nothing more was found to be causing such discomfort and lethargy. Three days later, after being placed in the ICU for two nights and have undergone more blood tests, urine tests and another ultra sound nothing is conclusive. 
     We are all running on fumes, emotionally and financially. Everything that needs to be done to diagnose and cure him is being done and will continue until he comes home. We are asking our friends, family and anyone who knows how it feels to love an animal so much you would do absolutely anything for them, to donate whatever you can so we can continue to give him the care he needs. Whatever is left over we will donate to the hospital that has been so absolutely amazing.
