Decorate A Tree, Support Danvers Students

This year's Parade of Trees will benefit the D.E.E.P Technology Campaign

Looking to give back to the community this holiday season?

Coordinated by Aldonna Linares, the is a fundraiser that has supported different causes around town since its inception, including the Danvers , the playground at , and now, this year, the .

Participants will fill their tree with the usual lights and christmas decor, as well as gift certificates and surprise novelties. Then, on Dec. 1-3 the community gets a chance to view the trees at , for a chance to win one. All of the funds raised will then go toward DEEP.

Linares said in the past different trees have had themes, including sports or a beauty tree. "It's even more fun for winners to find out what hidden treasures are on their tree once they win," said Linares.

It doesn't have to be just you making a tree: it can be your business, your neighborhood, you and a group of friends, or your family.

This is your chance to get creative! The tree can be any size; table top to a basic artificial tree.
