Dating After the Loss of a Spouse or Partner

“YOU WANT ME TO MEET WHO?” WORKSHOP

The Bertolon Center for Grief & Healing, a program of Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, is offering a free, unique workshop titled “You Want Me to Meet Who?: Conversations about Dating after the Loss of a Spouse or Partner,” on Monday, October 28 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Wellesley, 70 Walnut Street.

“After the death of a spouse, dating again can seem inconceivable. Yet companionship is desirable. Many people have questions like: How long is ‘proper’ to wait before dating? If I fell in love again, does that mean I didn’t really love my deceased spouse? Am I dating/marrying for the right reasons?” said Patti Comeau-Simonson, workshop facilitator. This workshop, facilitated by people who have “been there” will address some of those questions and allow for a lively discussion about some of the concerns as well as some of the solutions.
