North Shore Firm to Auction Oprah Treasures

Oprah Winfrey is remodeling one of her homes — and she's having North Shore-based Kaminski Auctions sell off many of her treasures to make room.

Who does Oprah trust to handle the sale of items from one of her fine homes?

Beverly-based Kaminski Auctions, that's who.

The North Shore firm will preside over the sale of personal and home items from the star's Santa Barbara, Calif. house. She's doing a complete renovation and is making room for the new look.

Some of the treasures up for sale include:

  • Louis XV armchairs expected to fetch up to $40,000
  • A Louis XVI chest expected to bring up to $50,000.
  • Works by artists like Allen Stringfellow
  • Memorabilia from Oprah's career
The auction will take place in Santa Barbara on Nov. 2. Proceeds will support the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

If you want to fly to Cali for the auction itself (not to mention the pre-auction party!), visit kaminskiauctions.com for details. For a look at some of the items on sale, click through the attached photo gallery.
