Check Out the Entertainment at the Fireworks and a Party at Maple Street Tavern

Here's the entertainment schedule for Wednesday's stage show at the Danvers Family Festival fireworks.

There's quite the lineup of entertainment planned for Wednesday's fireworks festival at Plains Park.

The stage show begins at 6 p.m. and for the next two hours will feature a host of performers: 2012 Danvers Idol winner Stephanie Parsons of Peabody, locals Jacyn Tremblay and Peter Tentindo with the band Venus Mars, Amj, Ed Wiles, Stephanie McCarthy, Kate Eppers and finally 2013 Danvers Idol Alexandra Valenti.

Erika Van Pelt, who served as a judge for this year's local Idol competition and is a finalist herself from Season 11 of American Idol, will take the stage with her band from 8-9 p.m.

At 9 p.m., the program turns more patriotic to honor men and women serving in the military, the winner of the 50/50 raffle will be announced at 9:15 p.m., and then finally the lights will be turned off and the fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

And don't forget the sample the goods at the 1st Annual Food Truck "Feastival" while you're there. Eighteen different food trucks with all sorts of menus will be at the park from 4 p.m. on for your eating pleasure.

For those who don't want to brave the crowd of thousands at Plains Park and also celebrate with a cold alcoholic beverage as well, Dean Borders is hosting his 2nd Annual 3rd of July Outdoor Party at Maple Street Tavern Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Borders was before the Board of Selectmen earlier this month for a one-day license to have a five-piece band and a beer tent out in back of his Maple Street restaurant.

He told Selectmen the party will last right up until the fireworks at 9:30, but he was given until 11 p.m. to wrap things up. There will be live music, beer and snacks. Food will be served until midnight inside the restaurant.

The musical lineup is the Satch Kerans Band from 4:30-7:30 p.m. and the Barbara Roads Band from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
