Golden Globe Fashion Trends Hit Danvers

Hollywood may be on the other side of the country, but the fashion trends popping up in California have already made their way to small towns like Danvers.

Fashion expert Jeanne Hennessey noted that many of the trends seen at the 2012 Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 15, are already making their way in her collection at .

Here are some of the trends Hennessey saw. Let us know what your favorite looks were in the comments.

BLUSH was a huge color. It seemed if the celebrities weren't wearing black they were wearing blush. The styles varied from Sarah Hyland's vintage Dolce Gabana to Charlize Theron's "delicious" Dior Couture low-cut chiffon. But the common denominator was soft and feminine. Elle McPherson, Jessica Beil, Heidi Klum and Kate Beckinsale all had on blush. We just had some dresses arrive in our store that are blush and absolutely beautiful.

SLEEVES are back. It was wonderful to see sleeves making their way back to the forefront and we are seeing that trend mirrored in dresses coming in to the store. Lea Michele, Michelle Williams, Jessica Beil, Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren (who was once again fabulous) all had 3/4 to long sleeves. Madonna, Julie Bowen and Octavia Spencer all had cap sleeves. Mirren's dress also showed the ruffled skirt trend.

ALL-BEADED gowns. My favorite was Laura Dern's emerald green all beaded fitted gown with sleeves....gorgeous! Also in glitzy beaded dresses were Anna Paquin and Heather Graham. We have beaded dresses in store and they make a bold, glamorous statement. We are also seeing crystal headbands and chunky crystal bracelets and bangles coming in. Bling is in!

RUFFLED skirts and accents. Helen Mirren's dress showed off the ruffled skirt trend. Ruffle accents were seen everywhere including on dresses worn by Anna Kendrick, Zoe Saldana and Chloe Sevigny.  We are seeing the trend here too with ruffles on shoulders, at the waistline and the entire length of the skirt!

JEWEL tones. Red, sapphire and green, as with Laura Dern, were hot in Hollywood . Even purple made it's way on to the red carpet looking great on celebs like Leona Lewis and Jane Krakowski. Here on the East Coast, we are seeing these same deep, rich colors in all our newest designs.
