OBITUARY: Estelle Joann (Jankoski) Trueira
Trueira grew up in Danvers and was employed for 23 years at the Hogan Center before eventually retiring as the head seamstress at the state-run facility.
Estelle Joann (Jankoski) Trueira, a former Danvers resident and longtime employee at the Hogan Regional Center, died Jan. 9 at the Greenbriar Terrace Nursing Home in Nashua, N.H. She was 93.
Trueira was raised and educated in Danvers and employed for 23 years at the Hogan Center before eventually retiring as the head seamstress at the state-run facility, according to her obituary. She also worked in the lunch program at the Peabody Public Schools.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Danvers. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation on Conant Street Wednesday at 9 a.m.
