OBITUARY: Helen M. Tinsley, 88

Helen M. Tinsley, of Danvers, died Jan. 24 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 88 and the wife of the late John E. Tinsley, Jr., according to her obituary.

Tinsley was born in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1943, going to work afterward at Sears and Roebuck & Co. in Salem for many years before being employed at Hotwatt in Danvers. She was also an active communicant at St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in Danvers.

Visiting hours will be held at Mackey Funeral Home at 22 Conant St. on Tuesday (4-7 p.m.). A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday (9 a.m.) at St. Mary of the Annunciation at 24 Conant St. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem. Condolences may be left online here.
