Obituary: Karen Crosman Alexander, 53

Karen Crosman Alexander, 53, of Danvers, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7 with her family by her side.

Karen bravely battled kidney cancer for more than four years. Karen was born in Burlingame, CA, to Leon H. and Shirley J (MacFarlane) Crosman. She spent her life in Danvers and graduated Danvers High School in 1978.

She was employed by Suffolk Construction as a Project Accountant. Karen lived a full, happy life and loved the ocean, the beach, sunsets, and spending time with her many friends and family. Karen was very active in the community and her most recent undertaking was as chairman of the Danvers Relay for Life Cancer Fundraiser.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jim, of 26 years and her two loving sons Eric, 24, and Matthew, 18. She is also survived by her sister Linda and husband Boe and nephew, Corey Cunningham; her niece Heather Morrissette, two grandnephews Jonathan, 11 and Adam, 9.
