Jean C. (MacNeil) Barrasso, 68, a longtime Danvers resident passed away peacefully on April 25 with family at her side.

She was the wife of Pasquale A. Barrasso with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Canada in 1946, Barasso worked for many years at both Hunt Memorial and Beverly Hospital as an OR/CSR technician.

She enjoyed time spent with family, gardening , pets, her trips to Nova Scotia and many other interest. She leaves her two sons, David and Rico Barrasso both of Danvers. She was the sister to Ann McNamara, John MacNeil and his wife Donna, Gerard MacNeil and his wife Wanda, Kevin MacNeil and his wife Patsy, Alva MacNeil, Gerry MacNeil, Wanda Burke and her husband Connie. Also leaving a sister in-law; Donna MacNeil and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; James and Donald MacNeil, brother-in-law Val McNamara and sister-in-law Shirley MacNeil.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in St. Richard Parish, Forest St. Danvers at 2 p.m. Please make memorial donations to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation at www.pkdcure.org. Leave condolences on the Mackey Funeral Home site.
