Market Basket
I shop every week at Market Basket in Danvers and walked into the store this past weekend and was rammed from behind a right after I entered the store with about ten shopping carts by an employee. He just giggled and never even asked if I was ok.I went to the store manager and told himwhat had just happened and he said he would go look at the video tape and talk to the employee, never filling out an incident report or asking if I was ok either. I thought he would call maybe over the intercom system after reviewing the video but he never did. The next morning after taking Tylenol for the pain all that night my daughter looked at my back and said it was swelled and very bruised that I needed to go back to the store and fill out a report so I did. The same manager was there and informed me that he reviewed the tape and apon reviewing it sent the employee home. He didn't bother to fill out a report with me, instead he had another employee do that. This whole thing seems so unprofessional to me. I called the executive office in Tewksbury because the doctor wanted to x-ray the area and they had their insurance company get in touch with me. I was told that Market Basket is not responsible for the bill to bill it to my insurance. The insurance doesn't pay for these type of claims and I wonder what the deal is with Market Basket. You admit this is your fault by sending that employee home so why do you not expect to take care of the bill for the doctor??? This picture is the bruise from the carriages.
