Patch layoffs by conference call

Very disappointed to hear our editor John Castellucio has been let go. John, you've been a wonderful source of local news for Danvers. Over the years we've laughed and cried, and relied, on you.  The past few months were especially difficult, when our beloved teacher Colleen Ritzer was taken from us, thrusting our little town into the national spotlight. You brought us timely updates and covered the impact to our community with professionalism and care. It saddens me to know the thanklessness by which you were dismissed.  So I just wanted to say to you: Thank you for a job well done, we appreciate all you have done for us.
