Understanding The Teenage Brain
DanversCARES is bringing Marilyn Belmonte, Founder and Executive Director of Healthy Outcomes, to Danvers for a discussion on understanding the teenage brain. Come learn the latest in how the adolescent brain is wired differently and why this puts kids at risk for behaviors like underage drinking and other substance use. You will have a chance to ask informal questions with an expert and learn why parents play such an important role in supporting teens. DanversCARES is happy to sponsor this free informal, informative evening for parents and community members in honor of National Alcohol Awareness Month. This event will take place on Tuesday, April 29th from 7:00 – 8:30p..m in the Gordon Room of the Peabody Institute Library. Free coffee will be served.
