$9K in Merchandise Reported Stolen From Kay Jewelers

The following are excerpts from the  department log, Tuesday, March 13 through Thursday, March 15.

Tuesday, March 13

  • Youths smoking at the were reported to police at 5:12 p.m. Police did not locate the kids in question.
  • A neighbor dispute on Crane Street was reported at 5:43 p.m.
  • Police were notified of kids trespassing on a Walnut Street property at 7:09 p.m. The kids were reported jumping over the fence into the resident's yard.
  • An individual yelling and swearing at was reported to police at 8:57 p.m. The person was spoken to.

Wednesday, March 14

  • A vehicle parked on Centre Street's back window was reported maliciously broken at 9:41 a.m.
  • A 15-year-old female from Salem was arrested for shoplifting at at 3:34 p.m.
  • An unruly Motel 6 customer was spoken to by police at 4:19 p.m.
  • Police were dispatched to Venice Street on report of people smoking marijuana at 5:18 p.m. The situation was unfounded.  
  • An individual stealing scrap metal from the was reported at 5:19 p.m. Police searched the area, but did not locate the person in question.

Thursday, March 15

  • Police were dispatched to at 2:51 a.m., on report of an unwanted guest. Jose Ynoa, 44, of 233 Chesnut St. in Lynn, was arrested on warrant charges.
  • The from 240 Conant Street at 11:13 a.m. 
  • A verbal argument at was reported at 11:52 a.m. 
  • $9,000 in merchandise was reported stolen from at 2:35 p.m. Police are still investigating the situation.
