Arraignment for Teen Murder Suspect Moved to District Court

The case was originally scheduled to remain juvenile court, but has since been transferred over to district court.

District Attorney spokesperson Carrie Kimball-Monahan says the arraignment Wednesday for a 14-year-old murder suspect will be held in Salem District Court rather than juvenile court.

DA Jon Blodgett told reporters that morning the trial was scheduled for juvenile court and would be closed to the public. He also said he was considering trying the teen suspect as an adult.

Danvers Patch will have more details as they become available.
