Busy Shoplifting Weekend in Danvers: Police Make 5 Arrests
Four out of five of the people arrested were also from Beverly.
Danvers police arrested five people for shoplifting this past weekend, and four of the alleged culprits were from Beverly.
First, Shannon Smith, 37, and Shaun Levesque, 31, both of 332 Rantoul St., Beverly, were arrested Friday evening around 7:50 p.m. following a report of shoplifters at Kohl's.
Both Smith and Levesque were each charged with one count of shoplifting by asportation.
Police next arrested Elizabeth Robertson, 30, of 30 Hilltop Dr., Beverly, on Saturday around 11:45 a.m. at Walmart. She was charged with shoplifting by asportation.
Stephen Florentino, 28, of 2124 Kirkbride Dr., Danvers, was also arrested that afternoon at Kohl's for allegedly shoplifting. He was charged with larceny over $250.
And finally, around 6:30 p.m., police arrested Steven McCarran, 25, of 21 Roderick Ave., Beverly, following a report of a shoplifter at Target. He was charged with larceny over $250 and shoplifting.
