Catalytic Converter Thefts and Break-Ins
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from Oct. 6-7.
Sunday, Oct. 6
- 5:51 p.m. Report of a larceny at the Liberty Tree Mall. A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle.
Monday, Oct. 7
- 6:57 a.m. Report of a car break-in.
- 7:29 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Ledgewood Drive. A wallet was stolen.
- 7:48 a.m. Report of a break-in attempt at a Chestnut Street home. A window was broken.
- 8:46 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 128 North at Elliott Street with injuries.
- 9:20 a.m. Report of a larceny at the Liberty Tree Mall. A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle.
- 9:39 a.m. Report of a hit-and-run accident on Route 128 South.
- 11:43 a.m. Report of dead ducks in the Mill Pond.
- 3:45 p.m. Report of a hit-and-run accident near Bed, Bath & Beyond on Endicott Street.
- 3:55 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 128 North at Elliott Street with injuries.
