Danvers Police Streamline Firearm Renewal Process

The Danvers firearms renewal policies have been updated this year in an effort to make the process go smoother, according to a document on the Danvers Police Department website. 

According to the new policy, firearm renewal applications will not be accepted in advance of interviews or application reviews. Now, those interested in renewing can just show up at one of the scheduled dates in August. 

Danvers Police will be holding firearm renewal events on Aug. 6, Aug. 17 and Aug. 27. Check out the calendar on the Police Department website.
