A Danvers man reported to the Peabody Police Department that he was assaulted and robbed by a wrench-wielding mugger at a mobile home park at 286 Newbury St. on Monday at 2:52 p.m.

The victim said his wallet was stolen and described two suspects, both white males -- one brown-haired in a Bruins hat, the other blonde. He said they fled the scene in a blue Toyota Scion.

After speaking with the man, an officer confirmed he was the victim of an armed robbery with a wrench. Police drove the man back to his residence on Chase Street in Danvers.
