Danvers Man Summonsed to Court Following Pedestrian Accident

On Dec. 8 a 23-year-old Lowell man was struck by a vehicle on Cherry Hill Drive.

Police have summonsed a 45-year-old male to court following a vehicle accident at Cherry Hill Drive on December 8, resulting in serious injuries to the pedestrian struck. 

Danvers resident, Brent Podmostka was delivering the Boston Globe in a 2005 GMC Sierra when he struck a pedestrian at 4:07 a.m. Podmostka was summonsed on charges of operating to endanger and impeded operation.

The victim, 23-year-old Lowell resident Jonathan Suarez, was transferred to Beth Israel in Boston with serious injuries. Suarez is an employee at Millipore, and was on his break when he was crossing the street.
