Danvers Police Issue Alert After Two House Breaks

Two house breaks were reported in Danvers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The has issued an alert after two house breaks occured between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday.

In the first break, which occurred on Centre Street, a rear door was forced, while the second on Chester Street, which was reported at 6 p.m., was entered through a rear window. Jewlery, a television, laptop computer, and a baseball card collection were all reported stolen. 

According to the report, the possible suspect is described as "a 20-25 years old male, between 5'7" and 5'10" with an athletic build. He also has a tatoo on the back of his neck."

The possible suspect was allegedly seen going from door to door. A silver or gray hatchback sedan was also seen in the area.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Detective Sullivan at 978-774-1388 ext. 6.
