Danvers Man Charged With 3rd OUI After Crash on High Street

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from Nov. 22-25.

Friday, Nov. 22

  • 5:21 p.m. A caller reported some suspicious activity on Maple Street near Route 1 -- a baby was reportedly in a shopping cart. Police searched the area, but didn't find anything.
  • 8:46 p.m. Report of an assault at the Liberty Tree Mall.
  • 11:06 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the Courtyard Marriott behind the Liberty Tree Mall.

Saturday, Nov. 23

  • 12:05 a.m. Dean Gray, 55, of Wells, Maine, was arrested, following a report of malicious damage to a kiosk at the Liberty Tree Mall. He was charged with malicious damage to property.
  • 10:17 a.m. Report of a break-in attempt at the Avalon apartments on Kirkbride Drive.
  • 10:17 a.m. Report of a stolen motor vehicle at the Ira Audi service center on Route 114.
  • 11:09 a.m. Report of a theft of a purse at Stop & Shop.
  • 12:31 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Maple Street near Chuck's Restaurant.
  • 1:58 p.m. Report of a theft of a lawn mower on Ash Street.
  • 5:03 p.m. Brian Holohan, 54, of 8 Sylvan St., Danvers, was arrested, following a motor vehicle accident on High Street near Merchants Liquor Mart. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (third offense), failure to use care in starting, stopping, turning or backing and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. No injuries were reported.

Sunday, Nov. 24

  • 8:11 a.m. Report of malicious damage to public property on Oak Street. A caller said the curbing was dug up.
  • 11:36 a.m. A caller reported there was a box with drugs on Nichols Street.
  • 11:37 a.m. Report of a break-in attempt on Leblanc Drive.
  • 2:41 p.m. Report of a tree down on wires on Ralph Road.
  • 3:26 p.m. Report of a tree down on Colby Street.
  • 4:17 p.m. Report of a tree blocking the road on Water Street.
  • 5:15 p.m. Report of a tree down blocking the road on Bay Drive.
  • 9:35 p.m. Stephen Livingstone, 20, of 235 Parkland Ave., Lynn, was arrested, following a report of suspicious activity at the Diluigi sausage plant on Route 1. He was charged with driving with a revoked license.

Monday, Nov. 25

  • 3:46 p.m. Report of fraud by a Barker Street resident.
  • 4:21 p.m. Report of a shoplifting at Sports Authority.
  • 11:08 p.m. Edvaldo Alexandre, 42, of 29 Simon St., Beverly, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a lights violation.
