Man Hospitalized After Rolling Pickup Truck on Water Street

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from July 14-16.

Sunday, July 14

  • 8:36 p.m. Report of an dog hit in the roadway on Route 1 near Putnam Pantry.
  • 9:03 p.m. Report of dogs inside a FedEx truck at Walmart.

Monday, July 15

  • 1:55 a.m. Krystal Silva, 28, of 12 Simon St., Beverly, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Street near Denny's. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to keep right.
  • 3:57 a.m. Report of a larceny at Denny's. Police said a customer didn't pay a $2 food bill.
  • Around 1 p.m. a 39-year-old woman was placed in protective custody, following a report of a female yelling at Market Basket.
  • 2 p.m. Report of a theft of a bicycle at a Bradstreet Avenue home.
  • About 6:30 p.m., Danvers police and firefighters responded to a report of a rollover accident on Water Street. Officers said a man in his 20s was traveling westbound when his pickup truck rolled over and struck multiple parked cars and a tree. The man suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to Beverly Hospital. He was able to climb out of the truck by himself.
  • 9:23 p.m. Report of a domestic dispute at Hollywood Hits. Police said a female was assaulted and an arrest was made, but no further details were available at the time.

Tuesday, July 16

  • 10:54 a.m. Report of fraud at Kappy's Liquors at 158 Andover St. Police said someone used a fake ID.
  • 2:20 p.m. George Gardner, 31, of Rowley, was arrested in Rowley and transported to Danvers. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, driving with a revoked license and a marked lanes violation.
